(458–522) A priest of the Northern and Southern Dynasties period in China. He was revered by Emperor Wu of the Liang dynasty and wrote a number of treatises and commentaries at K’ai-shan-ssu temple. Chih-tsang is considered one of the three great teachers of the Liang dynasty, together with Fa-yün and Seng-min.
